I started this blog last year as a means of self-expression and as a way to explore social media.  After a few regular posts and a couple of name changes, I let it fizzle out…or rather; I suppose I fizzled it out.  But let me take a few big steps back.  From 2002 through early 2010 I worked in various capacities in marketing for a dental equipment manufacturer.  I allowed myself to get to the point where I felt burned out or at least that I couldn’t keep up with the rest of my team and company.  So, I left.  I thought working for a small company and living at the beach was right for me.  Boy was I ever wrong!  And I discovered this major error quite quickly.  While I was introspecting on how I got to where I was, quite a low place indeed, the idea of trying the blog came to be.

So, fast forward.  I really enjoy the dental industry.  I understand that now.  Luckily, I was able to get back in it at the beginning of 2011.  So, now I’m picking the blog back up.  This time, I’ll stick to what I know…dental & marketing stuff…and have some fun.
