Next Stop, New York

GNYDM 2014 LogoSoon I’ll be heading to New York for a jam-packed day and a half on the tail end of the Greater New York Dental Meeting.  In addition to catching up with old friends and trade media partners, there are a few other conversations about which I’m particularly excited.

2015 will mark the 13th anniversary of the annual Townie Meeting.  I’ll get a preview from the good folks at DentalTown on what Townie Meeting 2015, April 15 – 18 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, has in store for us.  As in years past, I am sure this one will earn its reputation as “not your average dental meeting” and will certainly be one of next year’s must attend meetings.

Fresh off a Popular Science magazine “Best of What’s New” award, Convergent Dental will once again showcase its Solea CO2 Laser in the Big Apple.  I’m looking forward to sitting down with the Convergent Dental team, seeing this new device first hand, and learning what they have in store for the future.

I’ll also have a chance to get an update from Your Marketing Practice.  They recently announced the new Marketing Channel ROI service for dental practices.  Like an “X-ray for dental practice marketing strategy”, this revolutionary new service helps dentists better measure and analyze results of their marketing efforts.  Using the data gleaned from Marketing Channel ROI, dental practices can learn what is really working to maximize both new patient leads as well as conversion rates, and incorporate the right tactics into a comprehensive marketing strategy.

It will be a whirlwind trip, and I know I won’t have a chance to see everything.  I’ll report on some of the most interesting things here.  And I look forward to hearing from you about your impressions of the meeting as well as what I may have missed.  Leave a comment, or send me a message.  As always, thank you for reading.

Number 4 is a classic:  Sounds Like a Cavity  (By the way, I released an update to this one just several weeks ago.)

In at #3:  Notable Dental News You May Not Have Noted

The 2nd most popular article so far this year asked the question, just What is Digital Dentistry?

And with drums rolling in the background, the most read article (so far) for 2014 is…A (3D) Printer in Every Practice?

2014 isn’t over yet.  Still to come is the last installment for this year in my 5 Questions With… series.  I also have more content on marketing and digital dentistry planned.  So, please keep reading and sharing!

It’s Nearly 2015. Do You Know Where Your Patients Are?

The Greater New York Dental Meeting is right around the corner.  And not too long after it will come 2015.  No doubt, many dental practices are looking ahead and feverishly starting to work on their 2015 marketing goals and plans.  To this end, my friends at Your Marketing Practice are providing a special, free webinar on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 8:00 PM Eastern time.  Please join me for this excellent opportunity to jumpstart your practice’s 2015 marketing efforts.

FREE WEBINAR – Get More Patients in 2015 Using Simple, Breakthrough Technology That Measures Effectiveness

Every dentist wants new patients and practice growth. But have you ever wondered what kind of marketing is most valuable? What is your best lead source? Is SEO bringing in more patients or are Paid Ads? Does radio still deliver high-end patients or should you spend more on direct mail? Now you can have the answer.

Your Marketing Practice’s Marketing Channel ROI identifies what marketing channels new patients are coming from (radio ad, internet search, website, referral, etc). In addition, it tracks missed calls (did you know that the average practice misses almost 50 calls per month*?) And by using our ‘call audit’ feature (where an actual human listens to every call that comes into the practice), we can learn EXACTLY why patients say ‘no’ and how your staff handles phone calls. Did you know the average practice wastes between 15% and 50% of their marketing dollars*?

Marketing Channel ROI –

  • Identify what marketing channels provide the most/best patients
  • Use data to more accurately plan and measure your marketing
  • Gives you clarity and certainty when planning your marketing budget and channels
  • Arm each of your phone answer team with a customized blueprint to manage, track and optimize new patients’ appointments
  • Your secret weapon to help build a customized marketing blueprint to your practice success.

Attend this special webinar – space is limited and 2015 is right around the corner.
